GOLD MEDAL & WORLD CHAMPION 2019!!

Official Top this morning at 8:36, air temperature 16° degrees, clouded sky, rain, bad visibility and thermocline at depth – cold!! Learning throughout the first competition days, diving announcements were even more conservative.

I’ve announced a FIM dive to 81m, and was super happy I’ve had a thicker suit! I haven’t been training much FIM in general, so I was very surprised to have announced first result, joint with Fatima Korok.

This year I’ve changed my pulling technique and since then am really enjoying this discipline. My dive went smooth. Clean protocol and I made sure that this time All would hear “I – AM – OKAY!!”

Four out of the five of the athletes who dived this morning – before a storm broke out postponing the female FIM competition – got White cards. Well-deserved and Congratulations to you!!

Using this opportunity, I would like to thank my super-coach and husband Nik, who is helping me so much during this competition. It feels like a battle-field, and without support I wouldn’t have reached this amazing result!
